We all had the best time ever at our King Tut’s Summer Nights show. We played with the 9 piece band for the first time in well over a year and it was splendid ![]()

Jonathan Geddes at The Herald had this to say about the show:
“More composed were Bear Bones, who numbered nine and featured a singer, Ben Harrison, who’d even donned shorts for the warm occasion. His personable manner gave the group’s set an airy feel, and even managed to provoke a sing-a-long too. Their songs deserved that, as they were resplendent with melodies that soared in the right places, or were subtly plaintive. A winning, charming display.”
You can read the full review of the night here.
Here are two snippets of joy from the sweethearts over at Glasgow Podcart.
What a great weekend! We all had a blast down in the borders playing football and getting sunburned. The crowd of people that came to see us play were so great! It’s so nice to see a festival crowd listening so intently! Where do all you nice folk come from?!
Anyway here are some photos that the very talented Luke G Joyce took of us. Check out his other work here.

Check out the brand new player just added to our BandPage tab which allows you to play all our YouTube videos as a playlist without leaving FaceBook!
We’re just reaching the end of the demo recording we’ve been doing for the album. We’re all really excited about how the songs sound with the full arrangements. Big thanks to Johan Hentze, Tom Brown and the amazing Laura Wilkie for playing for us.
In other news we are DELIGHTED to announce that we will be playing the Solus Tent at this year’s Wickerman Festival alongside some of our favourite Scottish bands. Click Here for more information.
Our headline Communion show was completely amazing! It means a lot to us that every show we play nowadays sells out! Special thanks to In-Flight Safety who sorted me out with a 9v battery last minute. They pretty much saved us. Anyway here’s a video of us playing Give Me My Teeth in the beautiful Sentry Box just of Byres Road in Glasgow. ENJOY!
Good Evening men and women, we are going to be playing at one of the first Communion Shows in Scotland. My Mum will probably go mental and buy 50 tickets – to beat her to it go here: TICKETS
